David Honebrink
Mr. Honebrink started as a student teacher at Calvary and then accepted a call in 2007 to continue his ministry at Calvary as the 6-8th grade math teacher and 7th grade homeroom. His mission statement is "Preparing students for the next step" in the classroom, in life, and in their faith. He enjoys seeing students gain confidence in their God-given abilities as they grow from grade school students to high school. He tries to include a variety of basic math concepts, real-life applications, and projects as well as offers Honors classes. Check out his math page to see some of the cool things the kids have done!
David grew up on a dairy farm in Mayer, MN where he received a Lutheran elementary and high school education. He continued his education by earning a bachelor's degree from Concordia University of Wisconsin where he ran cross country and track. Mr. Honebrink coaches here at Calvary and at Lutheran High School. David and his wife Paula were married in 2010 and are kept busy with their kids Garrett, Damon, Tyson, and Leyla.
